Paula Andreasen works as development manager at the Unit of ageing, functioning and disability in National Institute for Health and Welfare in Finland. She has a Bachelor in Public Health and a Master in International Health. She has special interest in improvement of quality of care for older people, older people with dementia and end of life care. Her duties vary from public lecturing and research to educational activities around the topics of end of life care, quality of care, care for older people with dementia and health promotion. She is a country trainer and project coordinator for Finnish team of PACE “Palliative Care for Elderly People” a collaborative research project funded within the EU FP7 Health programme (FP7/2014-2019, under grant agreement n° ).
